Even as a child...I enjoyed creating, what I perceived as Art. As I grew, my medium of choice became oils, as opposed to crayons. I love a mix of strong brilliant colors.

I can\'t say that have preconceived ideas of what I\'m hoping to create at the onset of any of my pieces. For me it has been a ritual of applying paint to canvas and seeing what reveals it self.

As I go I find out more about this relationship between myself and what I call art, which changes ever constantly.

My more recent pieces have been a combination of mixed media (Oil pastels, gesso, and paper and sometimes shellac), without any derived theme. Instead I use colour, abstract shapes and surface texture to create visual metaphors for contemporary life.

I think these pieces are essentially abstract and could probably best be classified as non-representational, combining a variety of experimental elements which create a representation abstraction.

an abstract artist is someone whose art \'departs in varying degrees from representational accuracy”.

My pieces I believe are abstracted from a combination of everyday activity, pivotal experiences and emotions which extract themselves and manifest into forms of texture and colour.

I hope that those who see my work will allow himself to be carried away by his unconscious mind allowing the movement, the texture and the colour to to shape his conscious mind.
