Hazel Ang - Biography

I am Canadian artist living and working in Germany. I work with mixed mediums. I also do a lot of work in graphic design. As far as my approach to art or design goes, its basically the same. There is a fine line which seperates art from design. If I were to define my work, I would describe it as being representative of my self, my value on life and how I interact with my surroundings.
Recently I have been invited to participate in the 5th Florence Biennale in December 2005 and am working on a new series of paintings on wood panel of which several will be exhibited there. The new series is a reaction to the world events that occured in the year 2004 and will also reveal predictions for the future.
